Who we are

What we store

Signup form: your email address and which track(s) you selected (freelance gigs, content careers). Nothing else. No account, no login, no tracking of your job applications.

Who processes it

Signups go straight to Resend, our email provider, and join the Become a Writer Today mailing list. That list and this site share one controller, Consistent Publishing Limited, so there is no transfer to a third party beyond Resend itself. The weekly jobs digest is a topic on that list: you can leave the digest and stay on the list, or leave the list altogether, and every email we send carries an unsubscribe link. Your track selection is stored on your contact record so the digest goes to people who asked for it.

Job listing data (titles, companies, stated pay and a link to the original posting) is stored in this site's public GitHub repository and rebuilt into the site on every publish. No signup email address is ever committed to that repository.

Job listings

Job data on the board and in the digest comes from public job-board APIs and RSS feeds, listed in full on the sources page. We store titles, companies, stated pay and a link to the original posting, never the full listing description.

Analytics

This site uses two analytics tools, both cookieless: PostHog EU cloud, on our own domain via a same-origin proxy, which records pageviews and a small set of named events (for example, submitting the signup form); and Plausible, self-hosted by us, which records pageviews only. Neither stores the content of what you type.

Retention

A job listing drops off the live board after 30 days without a fresh sighting, but the record is kept, not deleted, so employer market signals such as posting frequency stay accurate over time. Your signup email address is kept until you ask us to remove it.
